About Us
Due to our continuing expansion, as an NSI NACOSS fire & security installer we are currently looking to recruit a highly experienced Engineer. The company has been designing, installing, maintaining and monitoring of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Gate Automation Systems for over 36 years. This is an excellent opportunity to join our company who really cares about their engineers.
About the Job
The role entails a mixture of installation, maintenance and breakdowns of security systems.
- The job is full-time - PAYE.
- Hours - Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30
- Out of hours call outs, 1 week in 5
Duties will include
- To manage your own workload effectively.
- Ensuring adequate planning to ensure that all jobs attended can be carried out with the minimum disruption and with a mind to completion in the shortest timescale possible.
- Maintaining van stock and client asset registers.
- The ability to pre-plan for breakdowns and achieve the “first time fix”
- Advising customers on new products and services to improve efficiency

About the Job
- Appropriate technical knowledge in Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV & Access Control Systems
If you are not confident on all aspects, we are happy to train
- To manage your own workload effectively.
- High knowledge base on both monitored and unmonitored Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarms and CCTV Systems.
- Ability to provide remote support over the phone directly with customers and work colleagues
- MUST have minimum 3 years, preferably 5 year’s experience
- Good understanding of British Standards, NSI (NACOSS) and BAFE
- Supporting initiatives to deliver ongoing continuous improvement
- Good communication, interpersonal
- Full UK driving licence
- Good knowledge and understanding and able to adhere to Health and Safety requirements
Package
Salary dependent on experience and is negotiable. Over time is available.
Includes a company van, mobile phone / PDA, laptop, PPE, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, pension.
